We had a wonderful week where we built community by learning to work together, and by learning classroom expectations, routines, and norms. All students understand the need to work hard and be kind as a means to making our classroom the best it can be. In terms of health, we need your help. Only three boxes of Kleenex and one container of antibacterial wipes came in. Could you all please send in one of each so our class can be healthy as well as productive? Thanks from the bottom of our snuffly noses and germy hands!
Last Friday, children were introduced to Google Classroom, where their literacy assignments will be posted and can also be submitted. Students, and their parents/guardians can also monitor literacy grades from this site. Our child can show you how. Again, grades the students are not happy with, can be resubmitted for a higher grade the next day. This week, math pages will also be coming back graded. The same policy applies. Any grade can be improved. We all learn from our mistakes.
