We will develop a rubric together. The report will be due the last school day of April.

Next week we will be back to a more normal load. Students got progress reports on Friday. They are to be signed and returned tomorrow, without the attached papers. There will be no more submitting of graded papers for a higher grade, to prepare our shared child for middle school. We discussed this Friday and I explained that, just because a higher grade can not be obtained, returned papers should still be reviewed. Students are encouraged to ask questions if they get something back with a low grade and don't understand the concept. Please reiterate this with them. I am happy to help clear up confusion.
Homework this week- finish everything but the conclusion of your Expert QOM. Children began researching one of two issues- the wearing of school uniforms, or homework policies. Please ask our child what they selected and get them to share what they learned thus far. We will be writing opinion based essays this week and next on one of these two topics. |
